FEMA Disaster Preparedness Grants

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) released Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs) for 9 grant programs, enabling states and Tribal Nations to strengthen their preparedness for natural disasters such as wildfires, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes, as well as human-caused incidents:

  1. Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP, includes State Homeland Security Program (SHSP), Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), and Operation Stonegarden (OPSG)) – $1,008,000,000
  2. Tribal Homeland Security Grant Program (THSGP) – $13,500,000
  3. Transit Security Grant Program (TSGP) – $83,700,000
  4. Intercity Passenger Rail (IPR) – Amtrak Program – $9,000,000
  5. Intercity Bus Security Grant Program (IBSGP) – $1,800,000
  6. Port Security Grant Program (PSGP) – $90,000,000
  7. State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) – $91,750,000
  8. Tribal Cybersecurity Grant Program (TCGP) – $12,164,971
  9. Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RCPGP) – $10,800,000
