As part of their work with the Tribal Superfund Working Group, ITEP is hosting a virtual meeting of interest to any tribal staff dealing with federal facilities on, or near, your lands. Federal facilities can be very challenging sites to deal with, and it can be hard to even find where to start. But the EPA’s Federal Facilities Restoration and Reuse office (FFRRO) would like to help. On December 13 from 2:00 -3:30 pm ET, FFRRO representatives will share what FFRRO can do for you at federal facility sites. They will go over the types of sites in the program, identify online tools, provide information on where to start for non-NPL sites, and share case studies of EPA interaction with Tribal representatives at specific Superfund sites. There will also be time for Q&A.
