ITEP has been working with US EPA’s Office of Research and Development (ORD) to create a series of webinars and virtual trainings for you. ORD has developed numerous online tools that can be very helpful to Tribal professionals as they plan for disasters, which may affect their environmental programs and their Nations and Villages. This is something we all face, especially given the climate crisis, but it can be hard to find the right tool for your needs – and then figure out how best to use it! Our hope is this series will help you in that process.
The first webinar was focused on Applying the Pre-Incident All-Hazards Waste Management Plan Guidelines, using the Four-Step Waste Management Planning Process to address natural disasters. This particular webinar used flooding as the scenario. You can view the webinar recording and look over the Pre-Incident All-Hazards Waste Management Plan Guidelines document to learn about these guidelines.
The webinar was recorded on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
What time is this webinar expected to end?
The webinar is expected to be live for one hour: 11am PDT – 12pm PDT. Thank you.
